PROFILE

My hands-on experience in golf course management coupled with a professional education, has helped guide me to this point of success in my career, giving me the knowledge, leadership capabilities, and skills in high level golf course management that will produce results in the future.

I am very knowledgeable in managing and implementing cultural practices as a result of my experience gained at well-regarded clubs. Over many seasons, I have conducted a variety of agronomic and construction processes on complex playing surfaces that have consistently resulted in excellent course conditions.

Solid progression in my career has given my current club, Country Club of Detroit, great confidence with entrusting me to manage budgets with fiscal responsibility, delegate jobs, and scout to ensure that the daily tournament conditions are met and exceeded.

In addition, I have a strong passion for the game of golf and its rich history, especially the great classic architecture of so many courses. It’s important for a superintendent to see the course “through the player’s perspective” and I embrace this in my daily decisions.
